Composition Analyzer - Photoshop plugin

Composition Analyzer - Photoshop plugin.

Berkeley, has conducted and published Boundary Detection Benchmark.
Trying to find out, which segmentation algorithm is the best.

If you take a look at the Benchmark Results-By Algorithm.
You will find out that, well, once again, computers still can't replace us.

well, thanks to a freind (Uri Wisler), I have pushed over the edge into starting working on 'that composition idea' I have been 'bladderin' bout since 97, and incorporate a segmentation algorithm into a Photoshop plugin.

vwalla,

I have used the Photoshop 3 SDK for one good reason. Compatibility.

Photoshop 3 API was adopted by more then 50 image processing software vendors as a plugin standard. Since Photoshop 5, Adobe has broken this standard, but kept a backward-compatibility with the Version 3 API.

backward-compatibility with the Version 3 API

stay tuned for next episode: The ViewFinder plugin.
What do you say about the name, Feng-GUI ? Its stands for Feng-Shui for Graphic User Interfaces :)
